There was a bit of comic relief, though, with Gator (Gabriel Guilbeau) getting schooled on the art of wheatgrass and Monica (Kelsey Asbille) fighting that green monster called jealousy after seeing Kayce (Luke Grimes) with Avery (Tanaya Beatty). In this week’s episode, “Keep the Wolves Close,” Carter (Finn Little) attempts to make amends with Beth. Later, Beth starts her new job with Market Equities and has another run-in of sorts with Summer. Meanwhile, Kayce finds a good name for Dog as he and the tribal police go in search of the horses stolen off the reservation. Governor Perry (Wendy Moniz-Grillo) has news that surprises both John and Jamie (Wes Bentley). Down at the 6666 Ranch, Jimmy (Jefferson White) takes on a handful when he is given some new chores.
