Who got voted off Survivor 41 in Episode 5?
Genie Chen
Going into this episode, grocery worker Genie Chen felt confident within her three-person Ua tribe, to the point where she told them about the idol she found and followed their recommendation to not open it. But she was up against the strong duo of Shan and Ricard, who stole the idol and planned to take her out. Despite some strained tensions between the two over an extra vote, they stuck together, sending Genie out.
Were any advantages found on Survivor 41 in Episode 5?
Yes! Shan and Liana took a post-challenge trip where they got to know each other, forming a strong bond incredibly quickly. At the end, Liana earned the brand-new “Knowledge is Power” advantage. With it, she can ask any contestant if they have an idol or advantage. If they do, they must give it to her. She clearly has someone in sight for that advantage: Xander. That’s because he, alongside Shan and Naseer, just earned themselves an idol each. Finally, all three were found on each camp. And when they uttered their ridiculous phrases at the challenge, those idols each activated, filling each of their pockets.
