The exclusive clip above gives a preview to what challenges the 12 contestants will undergo in their journey of team and individual challenges on the way to the $200,000 prize. After highlights of a nationwide search, we get introduced to some of the competitors, including travel nurse Celi Garcia, family man Zeus Ontai III and multi-talented mariner Tara Alverson. Season 2 of Tough as Nails will take these people to new heights and locations. They’ll face tasks that run the gamut of hardworking industries, from transporting 100 lobster traps to washing windows on a high-rise building to herding sheep. Not only will their individual fortitude be tested, but their teamwork as well. Once again, the dozen cast members will be divided up into two teams to compete each week for a lump sum of money. And as the competition winnows and people get eliminated, those group challenges will become more and more essential to getting cash in people’s pockets.
