The 90210 alum shared a selection of photos from their meal on Instagram on Monday, Jan. 9, showing off their mouthwatering selections, artistically plated on cast iron skillets and patterned ceramic. In fact, her dinner was so fulfilling that the actress found herself sprawled out on the floor in the aftermath, her blonde hair fanning out behind her on the decorative tile. Spelling also included a photo of her whole crew sitting around the table, shareable plates filling the center. She and McDermott’s children, Liam, 15, Stella, 14, Hattie, 11, Finn, 10, and Beau, 5, were all there, as well as Mary Jo Eustace’s—McDermott’s ex-wife—17-year-old daughter, Lola. The only person missing from the family festivities was McDermott’s son and Spelling’s stepson, Jack, 24. “A messy table is a sign of the aftermath of a brilliant family feast ❤️,” she began her caption on Instagram, tagging the restaurant Ember & Rye. “Quite literally one of the most amazing all around foodie family meals we’ve ever had,” she continued, tagging chef Richard Blais. “OMG your menu is the kind you read, your mouth waters, and you can’t decide what to order because everything sounds unbelievable. Difference is the food at #emberandrye is even beyond how it sounds on the menu.” She said that even her pickiest eaters enjoyed themselves and complimented the waiters’ “kind and patient” service with her “large brood.” “And, because of the unique flavor combos it prompted really great family conversations which we love when food is so thought and taste provoking our kiddos don’t even miss their devices,” Spelling added. “Love this! Thank you for spending time with us 🙏🏼,” Blais wrote in the comments. “Thank you so much Tori! We are so happy to hear that you and your family loved the food! 🫶,” the restaurant’s account added. “I know excellent food is the way to your heart. If T gives a good food review - it MUST be outstanding,” a fan noted. Here’s to enjoying more delicious meals all through the year ahead!
