How to store bacon fat
Bacon fat can be stored at room temperature, but if you want it to last longer, keep it in the fridge. Store bacon fat in the fridge for up to a year or at room temperature for up to 6 months. If kept at room temperature, store bacon fat in a dark container, tightly sealed, and strain out any bacon bits before storing.
