The crop circle, reportedly commissioned by Netflix, pays tribute to the beloved character Eddie Munson, played by Joseph Quinn. *** Spoilers from Stranger Things Season 4 Ahead*** Quinn’s character was only around for a one-season arc as he did not survive the battle against Vecna in the Upside Down, but Munson won over hearts and instantly became a fan-favorite. Stan Herd, an artist from Kansas, created the crop masterpiece to show support for the relatable metalhead who went out in a heroic blaze of glory. With a little help from his art director and son, the piece was completed in just 10 days. “We worked with some great locals and an amazing farm couple,” Herd told WDAF. The art features Munson throwing up his signature devil horns while rocking the famous Hellfire Club T-shirt. It’s accompanied by a message that reads: “Eddie Munson 4 Ever.” The Stranger Things YouTube channel and Twitter account posted the clip with the dedication: “Eddie Munson, this is for you.” Herd has created many different crop installations around the country, some of which include Kamala Harris and Joe Biden and NASA Astronaut Stephanie Wilson.Fans can admire Herd’s crop art while they await the highly-anticipated fifth season, which the Duffer Brothers confirmed will debut in late 2024 or early 2025.
