In particular, stars Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, and Madelaine Petsch, who plays Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, and Cheryl Blossom, respectively, have always impressed on Halloween, often doing group costumes together, and this year is no different. The trio revealed their Halloween costume for this year, and it was a perfect choice, as Reinhart, 26, Mendes, 28, and Petsch, 28, transformed into the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus and Hocus Pocus 2, played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy. Petsch posted a fantastic photo of them all in costume on Instagram, captioning it “SISTAAAAAS!” The actresses even recreated the characters’ expressions perfectly. The actress also tagged the photographer, Cibelle Levi, in the caption and on the photo. If you want to see more of the stellar costumes, all three Riverdale cast members also posted solo shots on their accounts.  Petsch captioned her solo photo, “this time if we see a teenager, we kill it," while Mendes thanked the people who helped put the look together, saying, “huge thanks to @matthewstylist and @jentioseco 🙏🏽 you understood the assignment.” Reinhart shared a closer look at her version of Sarah Sanderson with the quote from the film, “Hang him on a hook and let me play with him!” As expected, fans and friends loved the amazing Halloween costume, with actress Kathryn Newton commenting, “SO GOOD.” “Yeessssssssssss,” said former Disney star Aly Michalka. Fans shared the enthusiasm, with one person writing, “MY FAVORITE TRIO IS BACK,” while another said, “This is so iconic 😫😍😍.” In 2020, Reinhart, Mendes, and Petsch took on another iconic trio for Halloween: the characters from The Powerpuff Girls. Reinhart shared a photo of the three actresses in the costume, with Reinhart as Bubbles, Petsch as Blossom, and Mendes as Buttercup. She captioned the picture, “You asked… we delivered.
