The actor recently clarified just how much money he dishes out to finance his kids after The U.S. Sun estimated he’d be spending $3 million in child support next year. “I definitely spend a lot more than that on my children annually,” the father of 11 told The Neighborhood Talk blog, making it a point to note he does not, in fact, pay traditional “child support.” “I don’t plan to ever have to participate in the governmental system of [a] child,” he confirmed. The 42-year-old—who’s expecting baby number 12 next year—has made his involvement in all of his kids’ lives very clear in the past, sharing that he still gets nervous and excited every time he finds out a new child is coming and “wakes up everyday excited as a father.” Though not ideal for some, the Drumline star defended his family dynamic on “The Language of Love” podcast in February, telling Dr. Laura Berman that he doesn’t think monogamy is a healthy option. “I feel like that gets into the space of selfishness and ownership,” he expressed, adding that he takes “full responsibility” for his multiple offspring. The “Wild n’ Out” host first became a dad in 2011 and most recently welcomed daughter Beautiful with DJ Abby De La Rosa. Check out the full rundown on Cannon’s growing bunch here! More News:
