Depp and Vanessa Paradis’ daughter gave fans a rare glimpse into the celebrations as shared a series of photos from her birthday to her Instagram feed, simply captioned “🍦23🍧🌸!” In one striking snap, the accomplished model let her blonde locks drape over her shoulders and frame her face as she posed in a bubblegum pink outfit with a matching birthday sash that read “birthday princess.” Birthday wishes poured in via the comments section from fans and celebrities alike. Paris Hilton noted “Happy birthday beautiful,” while model Stella Maxwell left a string of heart emojis. Lily-Rose’s birthday fell on a Friday, which is the same day Depp’s and Heard’s lawyers delivered their closing arguments and jury deliberations began. A verdict is expected soon. The 23-year-old hasn’t posted on social media since the trial began on April 11, 2022, nor has she spoken out about the trial. Her last social media post was shared two days before the trial began to promote her Chanel 22 campaign. However, in 2016, Lily-Rose fiercely defended her father in the wake of abuse allegations, per Variety. “My dad is the sweetest most loving person I know,” she reportedly wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post, according to the outlet. She added: “He’s been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same.” Depp, who married Heard in 2015, took the stand last month and explained that Lily-Rose skipped the wedding because she was “not on particularly great terms” with Heard “for several reasons.” They filed for divorce in May 2016, with Heard accusing Depp of domestic violence.
