Detective Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craig, is the only character carrying over to the second film, as he travels to Greece on what first appears to be a lavish vacation, only for someone to turn up dead. Many fans love the unique character and want to know more about him, leading to the development of several interesting theories. Luckily, Johnson officially confirmed one thing many wondered about, and that’s Blanc’s sexuality. After seeing a preview screening of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, Insider noted that one scene in the movie reveals that Blanc is living with a man. At the London Film Festival, Johnson was asked specifically whether it confirmed that Blanc is queer. His response was cut and dry: “Yes, he obviously is.” Johnson went on to talk a bit about the man who Blanc lives with (and the actor who plays him), saying, “And there’s nobody in the world I can imagine in bringing me more joy for Benoit Blanc to be with.” Obviously, the identity of this man is a major spoiler for the movie. The only other thing the director said on the subject was, “No spoilers [but] who wouldn’t want to live with that person?” Along with Craig as Blanc, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery has a star-studded cast that includes Edward Norton, Kate Hudson, Dave Bautista, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, and more. The film will be in theaters for one week only, from Nov. 23 to Nov. 29, and it will be released on Netflix a month later, on Dec. 23. More News:
