The 63-year-old actress took to Instagram this week to spread the Halloween fever with a series of throwback photos, including one candle-lit shot of her soaking in a literal blood bath. “I take HALLOWEEN SERIOUSLY!” the original Scream Queen captioned her post on Wednesday, Oct. 19. “From a #bloodbath to ENDINGS are a BITCH, I mean WITCH!” Other throwback snaps in the post featured Curtis posing on a motorcycle in an all-black leather outfit and shots of her in a full-on witch costume, along with one pic of her sporting the iconic Micheal Myers mask from the cult classic Halloween films. The Freaky Friday star has been very active on social media lately, especially while promoting her final film in the franchise reboot trilogy, Halloween Ends, which released in theaters last weekend. The new film—which follows Curtis’ character Laurie Strode’s final battle with the infamous serial killer—has already been killing it at the box office, prompting the actress to thank her Instagram followers and longtime horror fans for supporting the movie. “Once in a while, it’s fun to be Queen,” she wrote via Instagram earlier this week, alongside a screenshot of a news article reporting on the film’s $41 million box office run. “Thank you to all the creators and fans that made this happen.” “I will tell you that it’s a thrill to be almost 64 and to be headlining the number #1 movie in America in the third of David Gordon Green’s @halloweenmovie THRILLOGY.” Halloween Ends is the third installment of the franchise’s newest trilogy, which began with 2018’s Halloween and 2021’s Halloween Kills, all of which serve as alternate sequels to the original 1978 slasher film. Halloween Ends is currently playing in theaters and is available to stream exclusively on Peacock. More News:
