What Is The Super Bowl?
What is the all the fuss about? The Super Bowl is the annual championship game of the NFL-National Football League. It has served as the final game of every NFL season since 1966, replacing the NFL Championship Game. Winning teams are awarded the Vince Lombardi Trophy and deemed “Super Bowl Champs.” Every year the show gets millions of viewers from around the globe, and has truly become a phenomenon.
When Is The Super Bowl?
This year marks the first time the Super Bowl will be played during the second weekend of February. Super Bowl Sunday is February 13, 2022. Prior years the game was played in mid-January, late January and for the last 18 seasons, the first Sunday of February.
Where Is The Super Bowl Played
Each year a different NFL stadium hosts the Super Bowl. For 2022, Super Bowl LVI will be played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood California, the home of the Los Angeles Rams.
How To Watch The Super Bowl
Television networks rotate who gets the honor of broadcasting the Super Bowl each year. You can tune in on Sunday February 13, 2022 on NBC, stream on Peacock Network or the NBC Sports app. Kickoff will be around 6:30 P.M. EST, but any of us who are fans know pre-game will begin in the morning hours!
